Biography
A Maze was founded in May 2008 by four music lovers where today, René (guitar) and Chris (drums) are the two remaining founding members. All had played in other bands, and brought many ideas and different styles of music what essentially characterizes the sound of A Maze still today. Of course, it is Rock music, but with influences of other styles.
Jasmine joined A Maze in September 2009 which gave the whole story an enormous push. In a very short time A Maze have written a lot of new songs, recorded them in December 2009 and finally in January 2010, the demo CD was released.
Unfortunately, short time before the first gig the bass player decided to leave the band. This was a complete surprise and upset the plans. After 6 months of futile search for a suitable bass player A Maze got the opportunity to record two songs in a brand new Studio at the end of October 2010.
Finally, the search for bass player ended in Februry 2011 when Michèle joined the band. Because of the difficult time during the search the band members got more familiar with each other and are today a lot more focused on their target: be musicians, have fun and go to stage!
